Why this horse caught Robbies attention:

“Circus Maximus was rated one of the best horses in the world three years ago. He was leased by Coolmore to stand at Windsor Park Stud, and I was keen to get one of his first progeny last season. I noted that they had obviously put the Stallion to big, light-framed Mares, because in 2024 a lot of his first crop were very ‘leggy’, light in body, and looked like they needed a lot of time. So, in 2025, they altered what mares the stallion went to, and one in particular, a Fastnet Rock Mare called Mawhooba. This resulted in the desired effect of this Circus Maximus colt I like who is a big, strong Colt, a great walker and very much in the Danehill mould. He’s Galileo over Danehill, which is the same cross as the almighty Frankel, who was unbeaten in his fourteen-race career, making him the highest-rated racehorse in the world from May 2011. “

I’d be looking at getting him preparing for the 2026 Victorian Derby.

He is currently in New Zealand going through the breaking in process, and will be arriving in Australia in June.
